Last night, Kathy put on a one-hour special on TLC called Extreme Cheapskates. I don’t really like these types of shows because most of the time the people are clearly overplaying for the cameras, and this show was certainly no exception. I’m bringing it up because I subsequently went and had a dream about it.

One of the threads in the show is about Jeff spending the day scrounging up $7.50 in change and then trying to buy a nice dinner for him and his wife with it. He ends up buying two goat heads from his butcher, which he parboils and bakes.

In my dream, I had this dinner with them. Upon taking a bite from the goat head, I violently spit it out, not out of disgust at eating a goat’s head, but because the meat was so overly seasoned it was overwhelming.
